New 3D Casino Planned by PKR Poker

The online poker world was taken by a storm 3 years back when PKR poker launched its online 3D poker platform. PKR CEO Malcolm Graham has hinted that PKR is about to launch a 3D casino by the end of 2010.

Graham said they will introduce a whole range of casino games to build upon the success of their 3D poker site which, since launching in 2006, has grown on average by 1,000,000 players per year.

“My theory is that there’s an opportunity to have a richer visual casino. Right now it’s somewhere between 2D and 3D- but we are working on taking it to another level.

“We´ll be rolling out 3D casino games: we already have 3D roulette launched in December. It should be the best roulette on the market we´ll be adding table gameslike blackjack and baccarat to it. Watch this space”

PKR is aiming to add blackjack in July, casino hold ‘em in September and Caribbean stud and baccarat in November slot games from other platforms.

Of course 3D casinos are nothing new- it´s just that they haven´t really taken off yet. When Graham was asked about the mixed feedback from the current slew of 3D casinos he said that the success of a 3D online casino also depended on things like good CRM, payment processing and tournament offerings”, all of which the new PKR casino will offer.

PKR is aiming to build up the social side of PKR poker to the casino  so for example you might have people can meet up and network in the real world.
